RUGBY BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN

Rugby Borough Council is updating its local plan. The local plan sets out policies and locations for new development across the borough, and we are obliged to review it every 5 years as a minimum.

The Issues and Options consultation is an early stage of producing an updated local plan. The consultation document is structured around seven significant planning issues facing the borough that it thinks should be covered in the updated plan.

It invites your feedback on whether you agree with the issues and options it suggests, and whether you think there are additional issues it should consider.

Alongside this consultation it is running a ‘call for sites’, whereby landowners or agents can identify land they would like to be considered for inclusion in the local plan for development of different types. Further information and a submission form is available at rugby.gov.uk/localplan.

You can review the Issues and Options consultation, respond via the online survey, and review supporting evidence at rugby.gov.uk/localplan
